I watched The 25th Hour tonight. It was pretty good. There was nothing flashy, or profound about it, but it was well acted by nearly all the characters (Anna Paquin is getting way too old to keep playing teenagers, much less nymphettes). Spike Lee has really matured in his film making. No more in-your-face race relations films, which were generally hard to swallow for anyone but New Yorkers. There's still some ethnic bits here & there, but its much better integrated into the plot.
