long days
Today was a long day. I was at work for almost 12 hours. I spent a large chunk of the afternoon fighting with solaris, and its incredibly lame device driver requirements.
I don't understand my manager. When I was interviewed, I made it very clear that I didn't like M\$-windows, and that I didn't use it voluntarily. Yesterday, she tells me that I have to cover for someone else when they are out for the next 6 days. Now, i'm the only person in the department that is normally dedicated to Linux (and unfortunately Solaris), and now I have to deal with M\$-Windows related issues that I know just about nothing about. *sigh*
Denise wants me to think of what I want for my birthday 3 weeks from now, but I honestly can't think of anything. There really isn't anything that I want right now.
