lazy sunday
I got a haircut this morning. The guy who did it was a bit brash. But it was a relatively cheap haircut at \$6.99, so i can't complain, since the end result is ok.
I got a bunch of birthday gifts today. Denise got me some Olive tapenade (from France) and Escape to the American Desert. David got me the Audubon Society's Field Guide to California, Denise's mother & sister got me gift cards to Whole Foods. I got a bunch of cheeses, olives, garlic bread, and sausages at Whole Foods. yum!
This afternoon we watched the second half of Mark Twain, another Ken Burns documentary. Overall, I felt tha tit was way too long. In total it was nearly 4 hours, but each half felt like 3-4 hours. It was decent, but not one of the better documentaries from Ken Burns.
