I upgraded my primary computer at home to FC6 (Zod) this afternoon with my yum method (rather than with anaconda on the DVD):
rpm -Uvh fedora-release*
yum -y upgrade
reboot
It worked perfectly, so I had about 1 minute of downtime during the reboot. Debian, eat your heart out.
