just a little email
I checked work email today for the first time since leaving for vacation on March 24. 7982 new messages. And no, i'm not exaggerating. It took me nearly 8 hours to sort through it all. It sucked. I'm not looking forward to Monday when I have a week's worth of work waiting for me too.
In other stimulating news, today is the one year anniversary of leaving VA. I'm still glad that I left, because from what I hear, things are no better over there now than they were a year ago. Well, they did hav a profitable quarter, but its a mystery how they pulled that off, or how readily they'll be keep it going. Its also kinda scary to think i've been at the new job for nearly a year (this Tuesday the 4th will be the one year mark). It doesn't feel like a year.
