As of today my automated test farm went live. I've got alot of enhancement plans, but the basic infrastructure is all in place & functional after just 2 weeks of basically part-time work. It auto-installs any Linux distro specified in the server side script, builds the software, runs the test suite, and then starts the process all over again, all 100% automated. I told my 'new' manager, and he seemed to be rather impressed & pleased. Long term, I want to enhance the logging functionality, add a read-only web front end for viewing current & past jobs, and then eventually make it interactive so that specific jobs can be kicked off.
