So Denise just told me this amusing anecdote from when the AT&T DSL repair guy was here yesterday morning. Apparently the repair guy saw the desktop on my computer (running XFCE) and asked if it was Vista. So random Joe Sixpack can't tell XFCE from Vista (or Aeroglass, I guess). My wife didn't even know what Vista was and just said that it was Seamonkey (thinking he was asking about her web browser), at which point he was apparently even more confused, and mumbled something about the operating system. She then clarified that it was Linux, and the repair guy was apparently even more impressed. Microsoft is truly doomed.
