i'm back
Last night I watched King Kong. Peter Jackson continues to excel at making elaborate monster movies. I can't say that I was terribly impressed by the plot, but then again, I think he was trying to stay true to the original.
We drove home from Vegas yesterday. That drive is long, boring and painful. There was a ton of traffic on I-5, which made the drive take just about 8 hours. Normally I can do it in around 7, and I was on track to do so until I got to I-5 in Buttonwillow *sigh*. Overall, it was a good vacation. I've got all the pictures uploaded, but I'm fighting with hugin to create some panaromas of some of the sets of pictures.
Today we went to Sam's Club and then the grocery store to stock up on assorted items. I'm hoping to spend the next 3 days relaxing, watching some movies, and eating good food.
