H&R Block - you suck

Ahh, tax time. Last year I got a small refund from both the fed & state, but I was really unsure what to expect this year. I had a few stock options sales, plus buying the house which were significant changes. Since H&R Block was offering to compute the taxes for free online (I'd have to pay to actually file them), I figured that I'd have nothing to lose by giving it a whirl. I'd used them back in 2005 & 2004, and was mostly satisfied. This year, however, they royally screwed me over. When I was all done, they claimed that I owed the fed almost \$9000, and the state nearly \$5000. Sorry, but something is very very wrong if they claim that I owe almost \$14k in back taxes. The biggest give away that they screwed something up was when they claimed that my income for the year was over \$100k higher than what it actually was. At first, I assumed that I must have mis-entered something somewhere, but after reviewing everything twice, I couldn't find a single thing that I did wrong. I eventually gave up, and went to Intuit's Turbotax website, which also offered to compute the taxes for free. Not only was Turbotax alot easier to complete (I found their questions alot more user friendly for someone who isn't an accountant and never wants to be one), but they found that I was due nice refunds from both the state & IRS.
So, I'm not sure what H&R Block screwed up, but clearly there's something very broken somewhere in their software.
