After 6 weeks, and a loss of the past 14 months of data, I'm finally back.  Lesson to be learned here is *never* trust someone else to backup your data, even if they make amazing claims about how reliable their backup schema is.

I'm still fixing things here & there, but overall, I'm back in business.
