good turned bad

Today was actually a pretty good day at work until the last hour, at which point I was informed that I had to yet again cover for someone who does Windows who was going to be out next week. So in the past month, i'll end up having spent 2.5 weeks covering for people doing windows. This is starting to really grate on my nerves. And today was actually a good day. I was really productive, doing things that were mentally stimulating.
