Fruit season is upon us. Denise picked the last of the nectarines last week, and yesterday we discovered that our apples were actually ripe. We've got 3 dozen picked, and possibly 10 times that many still waiting on the tree. Yesterday, I discovered that the peaches were reaching a ripe state. We picked a gross this afternoon, and there are easily 10 times that many still on the tree (although not all are ripe yet). We're drowning in apples & peaches.
