F@H
I spent some time today investigating how to get the CUDA enabled version of Folding at Home for windows running under wine in Linux.
It turned out to be fairly straight forward, thanks to this post. Even better, there's no need to rebuild wine. Simply passing "-forcegpu nvidia_g80" to the FaH client will override wine's builtin GPU awareness. With this knowledge, I've got an 8800GT (G92) running in Fedora9. It completed its first work unit about 2 hours ago.
