drowning in cherries

Its officially cherry season. The tree in our back yard has been full of ripe, sweet, juicy, delicious cherries for the past week or so. At this point, I'd say that we've picked at least 10lbs of cherries, and there are still many more that we just can't reach on the tree, plus more that aren't yet fully ripe. I made Denise a cherry pie last Monday, and we've been eating them raw all week long. This afternoon I made cherry-strawberry juice. mmmm..cherries.
