Earlier this week, Denise surprised me with the suggestion of spending part of the holiday break away on a trip to Lake Mead. I was really excited, as I didn't really have any solid plans of what I was going to do with the 11 day break that I was going to get between Xmas & when I returned to work on January 5. After some discussion, we finalized a nice 6 day trip, with two days spent exploring Lake Mead NRA, and another two days spent exploring Mojave Preserve. It should be fun, and I'm looking forward to continuing my quest to fill the car with sands from many lands.
