Denise got into a car accident this morning. No injuries, but her Golf has some non-trivial damage to the front driver's side area. The headlight is smashed into the engine cavity, the hood is bent a bit, and the side panel is dented & pushed back into the door (preventing the door from opening).
Its been nearly a year since my Passat got rear-ended.
