chili goodness
Today I made a pot of chili for the first time in I don't remember how long. It might even be years since I last made it. The recipe was fairly simple:
1lb of ground turkey
30oz of tomato sauce
1 bulb of garlic, chopped
1 yellow onion, diced
6 tomatoes, diced
1 large red pepper, diced
1 cup of black beans
a few pinches of chili peppers
1/2 cup of chili powder
tablespoon of olive oil
Basically I cooked it all on low heat for about an hour, and it seems to have turned out well. It always tastes better at least 24 hours afterwards, as the flavors better meld together.
We got the new digital camera last week, and a 1GB SD card for it this week. I've started using/playing with it, and overall it seems to be a good replacement for the ancient Olympus D460 that we've had for nearly 5 years. No more will I need to use TyGeMo to pull pictures off the camera, since the new one uses a simple USB cable.
