bored
I've been unusually bored this weekend. I was originally planning to go to the beach yesterday, but ended up scrapping that idea because my leg/ankle still hadn't healed. So I ended up not really going anywhere yesterday.
My leg is healing oddly. The front portion is actually starting to look alot better, but now the bruising has increased in the back, which makes no sense. Its been 2 weeks since I got injured, and I do suspect that the Keflex that I was taking for the first week worsened the situation. I'm still puzzled as to why this bruising isn't healing normally, and is almost still increasing. It doesn't hurt though, so I guess I should be happy about that much.
I did help Denise setup a MT blog of her own, and upgraded it to version 3.31 today, but beyond that its been mostly just boredom.
In other news, I found out that the only other person in my group at work who knows anything about Linux is leaving possibly as soon as the end of this month. My manager's brilliant solution was to tell me that I need to train other people on Linux. That isn't a bad long term solution, however its not going to help me in the short term. I've got a day off next month for Linuxworld, and then i'm out for 7 business days in September. A side problem with this plan is that everyone else in my group (or nearly everyone else) is swamped with work, so I don't see how they're going to have time to really learn Linux properly.
