I watched Fast Food Nation tonight. I think they actually did a fairly decent job of capturing the book. The problem is that the book was incredibly long winded & preachy. The material here could have easily have spoken for itself. I guess the only thing that surprised me is how much of the killing floor was actually shown. At the same time, it certainly wouldn't hurt to have more people see the film so that they have a better understanding where their food is really coming from.
