assorted stuff
With 3 days down, this week is going fairly well. The commute home has been pretty decent, workload has been non-overwhelming, and I'm getting time to play with a few things. Fedora Core 5 (test2) looks kinda spiffy, although the kernel has some issues.
I've had some fairly severe hearburn after nearly every meal for the past 2 weeks. I've gone through phases of this for the past 9 months or, and it happens for a couple weeks, then goes away, then comes back. I just wish it would go away already.
I introduced David to the Sesame Street website last week, and he's been having a pretty good time with the assorted games. He doesn't have a means of actually starting firefox on his own yet, although he figured out how to open a terminal window. I'm thinking of maybe using this as an opportunity to get him to understand how to put words together by typing them. I'm just not sure if he's ready yet.
I heard the most bizarre song on Morning Becomes Eclectic today titled Coin Operated Boy. I looked at the Dresden Dolls website, and their stuff is oddly enjoyable.
