Arizona trip report

The Arizona trip was awesome. David & I spent a full week exploring the southern half of the state. The weather was great throughout the trip, and there were no significant problems. I think what I enjoyed most was the eastern half of the state (especially Chiricahua National Monument), as the scenery and terrain is not the stereotypical cactus saturated desert, yet its still remote & beautiful. The only (mild) disappointment was Organ Pipe National Monument, mostly because it was effectively a miniature version of Saguaro National Park, with the western 2/3 of the park closed to visitors due to (Mexican) border enforcement problems.
