another year is upon us

Overall, I think 2007 was a good year. I finally found a job that is both fullfilling & challenging (yes, CUDA is that good where I feel appreciated). We bought (our first) a house, which I'm fairly satisfied with. David started school, and in spite of the complete & utter failure of the school system to do their jobs, David is doing incredibly well (entirely thanks to all the time & effort that Denise has put forth in doing the school's job). He's reading at around a 1st grade level, and excelling at all the other subjects (phonix, math, science) as well. We took some awesome trips (Death Valley in April, Joshua Tree in November, camping last week, plus a bunch of hiking day trips).
