170/35
I recently got my first physical in nearly 10 years. I've been having some weird, relatively minor, health problems for the past few months, and I finally decided to get checked up by a doctor just to be safe. The good news is that I'm fine, i'm just getting old. This getting old thing sucks. I never thought of 30 (which i'll be in less than 4 months) as 'old' by any means, but my body apparently has a different idea. So anyway, between back aches, heartburn, and other annoying aches & pains that come & go at random, I've got high cholesterol. Someone with 'normal cholesterol has no more than 160 LDL, and no less than 40 HDL. I've got 170 LDL and 35 HDL, so i'm bad at both ends of the spectrum. So I'm self-emposing myself on a low(er) cholesterol diet for the next 3 months in the hopes that it does the trick. Of course, in reality, it might be better if it doesn't help, because if it does, then I'm basically screwed and need to continue on a low cholesterol diet indefinitely. Overall, I think I eat relatively healthfully most of the time anyway, so at this point its squeezing water from a rock.
